Contract for Sale and Purchase of Havanese Puppy
You are purchasing an AKC Havanese Puppy from KASE Havanese.
The total cost of the pup is $_________ with a nonrefundable deposit of $________. The remaining balance is due when the contract is signed and the puppy has been selected. (Balance needed $________.) The purchaser pays all necessary shipping costs (airfare, kennel and vet certificate). Payment is via cash or money order only.

The above-described puppy is a purebred Havanese registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) limited for non-breeding and must be spayed or neutered by the age of (12) months.
The puppy selected will have been examined by a veterinarian and will come to the purchaser with up to date shot and worming records.
The new owner has 3 days from the date of purchase to have the puppy examined by a qualified veterinarian to ensure that the puppy is normal and healthy. If the puppy is found to have health problems of any kind, it may be returned within the 3-day period for a puppy of equal value. If no puppy is available, a refund will be provided for the purchase price only. We will not be responsible for any other expenses incurred by the buyer for any reason. If the veterinarian finds the puppy to be in good condition, the buyer agrees to retain possession and thereafter hold the breeder blameless and not liable for any further medical conditions of the animal.
Replacement is contingent on the puppy being returned to the seller in the same condition it left the seller's property, and with a written explanation by the veterinarian of choice. Expense of returning the puppy to the seller is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
We do NOT guarantee any health-related issues or loss of life due to reactions caused by vaccinations or Flea and Tick preparations administered either orally or on the skin surface. We do NOT give Leptospriosis to our puppies. We DO guarantee the above puppy against any LIFE THREATENING GENETIC diseases. In the event a life threatening genetic disease occurs, the seller must receive signed vet documentation of the defect and proof of spay/neutering. The seller reserves the right of a second opinion from another vet of their choice. If a life threatening genetic disease should occur, the seller will replace the defective dog with another puppy. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with replacing the puppy. The seller is not responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of the disease.
The puppy is being sold with limited registration and must be spayed or neutered between (6) months to (12) months. If for any reason the buyer has failed to spay or neuter the puppy and breeding, either accidental or deliberate, takes place; all puppies are property of KASE Havanese and shall be handed over to the Grenga's by the age of (9) weeks.
If any legal action or litigation is necessary concerning the above animal or this contract, it is to take place in the state of North Carolina, county of Mecklenburg, or the current state and county the breeder/seller resides in. No exceptions. All decisions by the court are final.
KASE Havanese will support the buyer with any questions they may have.
By signing the above contract you are agreeing that you have read it and understand the contract in full. No variations are accepted unless in writing and agreed upon by breeder/seller and buyer with signatures by both parties.
